CarGo — Level Design & Level Art Direction | Player Garage Station (Interior Rework)

This case covers the interior rework of the player garage, with a focus on functional layout and atmosphere.
My goal for the interior was to make the space clear to read and practical for gameplay: I redesigned the internal layout, distributed interactive objects in logical places, and built straightforward player navigation. I shaped positive and negative space to control flow, reduce clutter, and keep key interactables visible. Composition was set up from main viewpoints to support atmosphere and highlight important areas.
I completed a level dressing pass to add context and a lived-in feel, then reinforced the mood with Lumen lighting and supporting VFX. Decals were used to ground the space and add environmental storytelling through wear, stains, dirt, and small workshop details.
